This series of audiovisual “postcards” combine spatial audio (listen with headphones!) and generative visuals to immerse the viewer into a dreamlike, surreal version of international locations. I was inspired by the feeling of nostalgia I experience when looking back on travel memories and the small details (such as specific sounds) that can bring you back to faraway places and times. I used open-source online platforms for sound effects and edited them in Logic Pro. Visuals were developed with Luma Dream Machine AI, prompting and iterating on generations (was limited due to free version and the 2024 version of Luma).

Fun fact: the audio for Amsterdam was taken directly from the tram I used to commute on while living in the city.
